RetroMedia does not operate from a spare bedroom. We are one of the nations most trusted names in the digitising industry, having transferred the family memories of thousands of Aussie families for over 10 yrs.
Our shop, located at 249 Lutwyche Rd, Windsor is open 9-5 weekdays, and 9-2 on Saturdays. You dont need to book in with us - simply bring your media in & we can give you a quote on a service that will suit your individual needs.
RetroMedia are known within the industry as innovators in the digitising & restoration of obsolete media.
We were the first company to offer transfers direct to Mp4 files, supplied on a USB. We actaully no longer offer transfers to DVD - we will make DVDs if you like, but only as an add-on service. DVDs are a poor quality format is so many ways - longevity, durability, ease of backing up - and then add to that the fact that DVD is being phased out as a medium, that we have made the decision that we can no longer recommend DVD. Were seeing cases where people have had videos transerred to DVD elsewhere and in as short a time as 5 - 7 years the DVDs will no longer play, and the memories are unrecoverable & lost forever.
RetroMedia can save mouldy tapes no-one else in Australia can save. Most other professional digitising services send their difficult tapes to us.
We also offer varying levels of service depending on your needs. For example, scanning slides with or without colour correction & exposure adjustement... Neat Video picture noise reduction on VHS transfers.... We have the know-how, and the equipment to tailor your transfer services to your particular requirements; from a direct transfer, to one "with the works"!
